Axle Lane Vehicle Transport Carrier
HOW IT WORKS

How Axle Lane Vehicle & Equipment Transport Works.

Axle Lane LLC is a federally authorized property transportation broker that arranges transportation with independent, licensed motor carriers. The carrier operates the Vehicle & Equipment Transport your property; Axle Lane coordinates the transaction and communication.

One clear sequence

01 - Tell us the shipment

Provide the origin, destination, vehicle details, condition, timing and transport preference. The more accurate the information, the more useful the quote.

02 - We Review the Carrier Market

Vehicle & Equipment Transport is a live carrier market. Route demand, equipment, vehicle condition and timing all affect what qualified carriers will accept. Axle Lane reviews those factors before dispatch.

03 - Carrier Match & Verification

We work to match the shipment with a motor carrier and verify active authority and insurance information before dispatch

04 - You Review the Dispatch

You receive the assigned carrier information, confirmed transportation details and pickup expectations before the shipment is dispatched

05 - Pickup & Bill of Lading

At pickup, the vehicle's condition should be inspected and documented on the carrier's Bill of Lading / condition report. Keep a copy and take your own timestamped photos.

06 - Transit & Coordination

Axle Lane remains available to coordinate communication and address changes or issues between the customer and carrier.

07 - Delivery & Final Inspection

Inspect the vehicle before signing the delivery documentation. Note any new damage on the Bill of Lading before the carrier leaves and retain photos and documents

Broker vs. carrier

Axle Lane is the broker. The independently contracted motor carrier provides the truck, driver and physical transportation. Before dispatch, review the carrier information, confirmed price and pickup plan.
